Understanding Psychopaths When Encountered
Understanding psychopathy began over a
century ago and today much about the condition remain to be understood.
The family background if Richard
Barteaux, Senior I had assumed was a combination of the heritage passed down
through Richard's parents, obviously Walter Dean Barteaux and Betty Mae
Stevens. But this was not the case. Richard was adopted; therefore,
I knew nothing about his genetic heritage, I eventually realized.
After my horrible experience with Richard, I remarried and had four more
children. None of them exhibited the behaviors myself and my family
underwent with my first child, Carolyn Anne Barteaux.

her at MorganPillsburyGell.com
Although the symptoms were less obvious while Carolyn was a child,
they were there. When I revisited those
many incidents, years later, this was glaringly obvious.
Psychopathy is a problem. Therefore, it is best we understand more
about it, don't you think? The story of Richard Lee Barteaux, born Joseph Mangold,
introduces many of the kinds of problems encountered when the psychopath is not
particularly intelligent, does not attempt to notice the very different
behavior of those around him/her, and wreaks havoc that is unmistakable.
